Kyler Jace Robinson, 20, was behind the wheel and Wesley Owen Singh, 19, was in the passenger's seat when police found the white 2022 Hyundai Kona upside-down on Manchester Road just before 4 a.m., according to a release by Maryland state police.
The pair died from injuries sustained in the crash and were pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
They had been planning to move to Los Angeles to chase their entrepreneurial dreams in cars and real estate starting July 1, according to Robinson’s obituary and Singh’s social media.
The men’s community has been sharing about its loss on social media.
Robinson’s older sister Joanna Robinson writes on Facebook:
“Yesterday by far was one of the hardest/worse days of my life an ik going forward is going to be sooo much harder without u lill bro!!! The breakfast date or just the random calls an message seeing how everyone is doing here with me an at home with u!! I don't understand y this has happened...... I love u more then words could ever express bro an miss u sooooooooooooooooo much!! My head an heart don't even know wht to do or think rite now.....Hey my lill bro I don't want u to worry! I got mom an dad an Johnny an lola an everyone else!!! Just please keep watching over us!! U an Davion Steele an visit us everyday an helps us on the days we really need it cuz its going to be soooooo harder now without u both here!!!!!I love you always an forever my lill bro!! ”
Robinson was a graduate of Spring Grove Area High School where he played football. He is survived by “his parents Craig and Tonya Robinson, grandparents Ernest and Darby Steele; loving family, Joanna Robinson, Johnny, Mary, Brayden, Candran, Landon, John and Carrie Steele, James Fritz King, Taren Nieves, Chad Beccio, Juniper Steele and Jasper Beccio, Craig Robinson Jr., Deb Laird,” his extended family, friends, and former class and teammates, according to his obituary.
Singh “was a 2020 graduate of Oxford Christian Academy in New Oxford. Throughout high school Wesley was a dedicated employee of Subway and Dunkin prior to opening his own business,” his obituary states.
He is survived by his parents, Brandy L. (Hoffman) and husband Ernest Nell of Hanover and Arminder “Ravi” and wife Jyoti Singh of Gettysburg, his sisters, Lindy Pittman, Abigail M. O'leary, Kayleigh N. Lecrone, and SaraJane E. Nell, and brothers Sim Singh and Ernest R. Nell III. Wesley, his grandparents, extended family, as well as his friends, and former classmates and co-workers, according to his obituary.
“Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Ministries where Wesley once volunteered,” as stated in Singh’s obituary.
The two men were close friends so they will have a joint memorial and funeral service.
The “Celebration of Life Tribute Services for Kyler Robinson and Wesley Singh” will begin with a visitation at 3 p.m. at the Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Road, York, followed by the service at 5 p.m. and the Celebration of life at 7 p.m., according to the men’s families.
